About Rituxan
While many people respond well to anti-TNF therapies, a significant number of people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) may not. Fortunately, advances in RA research have led to a different type of RA treatment—a treatment that may work when anti-TNFs have either stopped working well or not worked well at all. It's called Rituxan® (rituximab).
-
With just 1 course of 2 infusions, Rituxan is the only treatment for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) that can provide 6 months of relief by
improving pain and symptoms. Plus, it can protect joints by slowing the damage of RA. So if Rituxan works well for you, you won't have to miss out on the things that matter.
- In studies, more than half of the people taking Rituxan experienced a clinically significant improvement in RA signs and symptoms (ACR 20 response). Individual results may vary. Please ask your doctor for more information.
- For people who haven't responded well to one or more anti-TNFs, Rituxan is the first and only treatment proven to protect joints by slowing the damage of RA.
- Although Rituxan works differently from other RA treatments, it has been tested extensively. In fact, Rituxan has more than 10 years of clinical experience across all approved uses and over 1,000,000 patient exposures.
- Keep in mind that not everyone responds to Rituxan in the same way, and some people have experienced side effects during or after their treatment with Rituxan. For more information, be sure to review the Rituxan Medication Guide and talk with your doctor.
- Side effects information: Common side effects associated with Rituxan include infusion reactions and infections.
